What is a Dynamic Vision Test?
Dynamic visual acuity refers to the ability to accurately identify objects in motion. It is a critical skill in sports and gaming where fast-moving objects must be tracked and identified in real-time.
Dynamic Vision in FPS & Esports
In FPS games, players need to quickly identify fast-moving enemies on screen. Superior dynamic vision allows better aim tracking and faster reactions. Training your dynamic vision can lead to measurable improvements in gaming performance.
Tips
- Capture at a glance: Try to identify the number with a quick glance rather than tracking it.
- Use peripheral awareness: Detect approach in your periphery, then identify with central vision.
- Practice regularly: Start with Slow, aim for 5/5, then move up.
- Consistent distance: Sit 40–60 cm from the screen.
