What You Can Check

Direction Check -- When you scroll up, the display should show "Up", and scrolling down should show "Down". If the opposite direction appears, there may be a settings issue or a hardware malfunction.

Skip Check -- Slowly scroll one notch at a time and verify that each notch is detected. If some notches are not registered, the wheel sensor may be dirty or faulty.

deltaY Value Check -- Normally, one notch produces a value of approximately +/-100 (varies by browser/OS). If the values are extremely large, small, or unstable, it may indicate a problem.
